At Russo Landscapes, our mission is to create a delightful experience and lasting impact for our associates, customers, and the communities that we serve. We strive to facilitate a culture of stewardship by honoring the people, resources, and properties that have been entrusted to us.

The last 20 years…

  • 2002

Our founder, Anthony, began using a wagon to haul supplies and lime green flyers to post around his home neighborhood of Legacy Park. He used only a push mower, removed grass from concretes with a push broom, and edged with an electrical cord.

  • 2011

After receiving his driver’s license, Anthony used the savings from his business and invested in a small pick-up truck which broadened the service area. He then began hiring part time help to manage the workload.

  • 2018

In 2018, Russo Landscapes grew from a solo operation to managing a full-time staff and schedule.

2024

Russo Landscapes has proudly grown to become a reputable, client and staff-oriented company with the honor to serve multiple counties and communities. We hope that you will be a part of our journey.

Our Inspiration

Our Inspiration

Who was the original inspiration of Russo Landscapes?

It was Anthony Russo Sr. He inspired entrepreneurship first. Then, our founder fell in love with the green industry in the process. We thank Anthony Russo Sr. for all you did for this business. You effected so many lives you never even knew. We will be forever grateful. Today a pennant is hung in our company office as a daily reminder of his contribution to what is known as Russo Landscapes today. Anthony Russo Sr. passed away on December 31, 2020.

— Grandma Russo

At 12 years old our founder had ambitions to start a lawn mowing business. In 2002, Anthony shared his doubts of having success at such a young age with his grandmother. He said these words, “who’s gonna hire a kid?” This quote became an emotional motivation to drive the business to success. Every milestone the company would surpass, Grandma Russo would be right there, reminding him of those words he said that day. She never let him forget it. Today, thousands of people have hired “a kid” known as Russo Landscapes today. Her words are pinned in our company office and a daily reminder of where we came from and continuing to motivate us all today on the path forward. Grandma Russo passed away on February 17th, 2021.
